The second title in the bestsellingseries from the brilliantly talented Liz Pichon. No school for two whole weeks! (Yeah!)

I can forget ALL about lessons (and irritating things like Marcus Meldrew).

And concentrate on good stuff like:

• Inventing new ways to annoy my sister Delia. (So many).
• Band practice for DOGZOMBIES (with my mate Derek).
• Watching TV and eating caramel wafers.
• Eating caramel wafers and watching TV.
Excellent. Unfortunately a couple of small problems called the dentist and my big weirdo sister, Delia, seem to be getting in the way of my BRILLIANT plans . . .

About the Author:

Liz Pichon is the brilliantly bonkers brain behind the Tom Gates series—those laugh-out-loud books packed with doodles, disasters, and the everyday chaos of being a totally normal (ish) kid. With her signature mix of hilarious storytelling and scribbly illustrations, Liz has turned homework excuses and biscuit obsessions into a global reading phenomenon.

Before she took over kids’ bookshelves, Liz studied graphic design and worked as an illustrator—and it totally shows. Every Tom Gates book is a wild explosion of creativity, humour, and perfectly messy fun that keeps even the most reluctant readers coming back for more.

Her books have won stacks of awards (no surprise there) and have even been turned into stage shows and TV magic. Whether Tom’s navigating school, annoying his big sister Delia, or starting yet another band, Liz always delivers stories that feel like they were written just for kids who love to laugh, doodle, and dream.

If you like jokes, drawing, snacks, and stories that don’t take themselves too seriously—Liz Pichon is your absolute hero.
