Hulle span saam met Nguni, 'n sagmoedige reus uit die amaXhosa-stam wat hulle die weg wys in die bosse van Afrika en hulle beskerm teen roofdiere wat hulle nie eens geweet het bestaan nie. Beginselvas, gegrond in hul ouers se opvoeding, leer die seuns om aan te pas by Afrika se toestande, haar mense en kultuur. Hulle leer ook baie vinnig hoe om hier besigheid te doen, met ongelooflike resultate.
