In author Nida Degutiene’s own words: ‘When you live in Israel it’s plain to see that food holds a special place in Jewish life. They reflect the traditions, history and customs passed down from generation to generation. They are an attempt at returning a piece of Jewish heritage to the small but vibrant Jewish community in Lithuania.’

Great price and efficient service

My daughter-in-law loves the book “A Taste of Israel” and is planning to buy a friend a copy! I myself, looked thru the book and am thinking about getting myself a copy as besides the delicious looking recipes I enjoyed the tidbits of info on kosher food and dietary laws.
